Here is my two cents.
Mohegan in the last year or two has been all about the bottom line. They believed they were losing money on advantage vp with points and comps added in. Level of play was not as important, only win loss. My wife and I were both club sachem for 5 years with her having losses and me having wins because of the way we play. She was downgraded to Sachem and the player while I went to player directly. She will always be player because she never earns points but she gets free rooms all the time execpt when there are big concerts. We probably go once every two months and will do so as long as she still gets the rooms and lounge access. We have been making more trips to Vegas as we get treated well there. We don't go as often as air fares seem to just getting higher and non stops other than Jet Blue don't exist

But King gets VIP checkin, lounge access, and all the other amenities that work for me.

Nice to hear from you again. According to VPF2, King would require $750K coin per yr. Still higher than AC casinos for what seems to be the same amenities. However with FW being much closer to your home, for you its a no brainer. It would seem that you made the prudent move in not seeking the much higher coin-in reqs. for the two upper tiers.
At this point, with FW being equidistant from me as AC( although less tolls), and no perceptible improvment in offerings I'll stay with my Jersey travels.Larry F.
