Staying at the Rio in April. Since it's a Harrah's property is there
any hope in decent (.25 or .50 or $1) VP? Any reviews would be welcomed
as well.

Only if you consider 7/5 BP or 9/5 DDB as decent plays. The only full
pay is $5 9/6 JoB

IIRC, it's a 239 for SF machine... just South of FP
(and pretty darned slow, I think)

I'm curious what facts are leading you to believe it'll be straight
liquidation for Harrahs? Personally, I think it'll be Ch 11 first...

It is a short walk accross the street where you can find excellent VP at The Palms. Unfortunately, the VP at the RIO is dreadful.
