So basically if you play almost any full pay machine unless you hit the RF
the law of averages says you will loose money in the long run...correct?

The Return Without The Elusive RF
You are correct. However you may be able to find enough in promotions to
counter this. For instance a FPDW machine will return 99.0% without the
RF and with proper strategy. You may be able to make up this 1.0%
difference with promotions or comps.
