I am a newbie so excuse this question.Since the RF happens so
infrequently,can anyone in VPland tell me how much your long term play
total return is reduced (%wise) if you never get one..say in 100,00
hands.

The Royal Flush contributes about 2% to your total return. But it
depends on the game you play.

Here you can get a pretty good handle on what it will cost you on many
popular games when you do not catch your expected share of hands that are
quads or higher.
