You've jostled my memory back to the mid 70's. I used to stay at the
Budget Motel (a motel just north of the El Cortez that was recently
upgraded to a Motel 5) They gave me the coupons you mention I remember
the choice of toast was white or wheat only. Hummmm.

day for them ( and they do live on tips ) is $30. But 'the most amazing
things about the El Cortez' are the clientele that eat breakfast there.

a pot-pouri of colorful old time vegans - I'd love to know their stories.
