The Monorail, The Alaskan Highway and Dan Paymar

My last trip to Vegas I mostly played poker at Wynn, Bellagio and
Mirage for six weeks. I would take the monorail ($3.00) from Wynn to
Bally's and walk across to Bellagio and vice versa. Cab Fare with
tip is $8.00 between the two but you get front door to front door
service. At $5.00 a pop for the monorail two people would actually
save money by splitting the Cabfare. Next time down I'll use the Cabs
even if I'm by myself because the savings is not worth walking
through the crowds.

I drove the Alaska Highway 11 times, my folks live in Juneau, and in
the past, I've worked all over Alaska. The Highway is a cheaper deal
if you have a good vehicle. Flying and having your vehicle shipped
is extremely costly and inconvenient. The poster may have been
refering to the proposed "bridge to nowhere" in Ketchikan. The
national media refers to it as a boondoggle as there are only 50
residents on the island. What is not told is the Airport is on the
island and Alaska Airlines makes several stops a day. I've flown in
and out of Ketchikan many times and the ferry ride between the island
and the mainland is a royal pain.

Many years ago I learned from Dan Paymar how to make dollar money
playing quarter video poker. Most of those plays are gone now but
alot of the money I made is still around. So, I'm a big Paymar fan.

The Monorail could be a big waste to some or many people but, during
conventions such as the coming CES, this monorail service could be a
big plus since it takes you all the way to LV Hilton!!!

Glad to hear that you made money learning it from Dan Paymar!
I'm just very very surprise, with all his knowledge of the game and
helping other people make money from playing vp, ---> why he did not
or was not able to help himself make at least A Million Dollar (like
Bob and Shirley)!?
If you have his vp knowledge all the way its "Optimum" level, how
much money would you have won so far?
