The Luckiest Pull you ever saw ???

Howdy

Yesterday I saw a lady who had held a joker pull 4 aces..two on each side
of the joker like a perfect picture.
She was playing a progressive $ joker poker. I was sitting on a near by
machine and was attracted by the loud alerting racket the machine emits to signal
a slot attendant.

The lucky lady still plugged away at an adjacent machine even after she
collected her just reward.

Grumpy would have left the building

Saw a guy waiting for his wife, put a dollar in a slot
machine and win $5000. He wasn't even paying
attention. All the women were making fun of him
because if he had bet max credits he could have won
$20K, but I knew better.

This wasn't just one pull, but your story made me recall the most
bizarre session of my life. I played a Progressive Aces or Better
Joker Poker game with bonus payouts for hands with Aces in them - in an
eight hour session I had 5 Aces twice (Once holding the joker and one
Ace only, and the other time holding the natural 4 Aces) and also hit
the RF Progressive!

Glad there wasn't a thunderstorm outside when I left, I was figuring to
be struck by lightning to cap the night off

Years ago at the Flamingo, way before pre-strategy days and the internet, there used to be
a popular bank of Jacks or better .25c progressives with the double down feature that
would sometimes go quite high before it hit (somewhere in the $2000+ range). I was
playing and chatting with my friend when I was dealt a garbage hand,threw it all away and
drew the royal on the re-draw. Gobsmacked me and everyone else around me. Never seen
that happen again since.

  How about a royal on the redraw - like yours, but sequential? It was quite a bolt - 10 thru ace left to right. Others have told me it was a "lotto lucky" type draw - something in the 300,000,000 to 1 range. Of course I got he standard $1000....
