While all those jokers who thought they were doing the right thing
feeding their insatiable gambling habits and making a (hehehe!)
INVESTMENT by moving to LV and purchasing property in the last 5 years
or so, the rest of us are watching all this laughing our butts off.
Not only does LV have the highest rate of foreclosures in the US (in
addition to the highest volume of social problems on the face of the
earth, thanks to all the low-lifes who inhabit the dwelling and the
streets there) it has become the most undesireable place to live
according to CNBC this week.
It is a study in contradictions--and we've just seen that it's gamblers
are much the same. On the one hand, the city brags and brags on and on
about how many new resorts, expansion projects, complexes and casinos
are to go up in the next couple years--thereby creating thousands and
thousands of additional hotel rooms and places for visitors/locals to
shop and dine and just spend all their money in those fancy new casinos-
-and all the while home values there takes huge dives, Stations lays
off 3000 employees, people who just can't take any more are diving off
top floor patios, casinos are either not seeing growth or are losing
money at record rates, and the city's wretched streets become even more
littered with scumbucket losers and alien scammers. Ironic, isn't it....
There's a big change coming to that city and everyone knows it. Of
course, people like Dick will come on and defend his move as "positive"
and proclaim how his duplex or whatever it is shot up in value. And oh!
what a great life it is being able to go to stinky casinos for hours
every day! But those not in denial know the truth, which is the city is
slowly going to pieces, abd the only ones who can take advantage of it
will be those like me who come to town, soak it for thousands in a day
or two or less--then get out FAST.
How it can get much worse there is at first a mystery. But then, when
you think about all the high-end construction going on and the fact
that there are absolutely no industries there to support any of it --
other than the casinos with their 98% bottom-feeder employees -- you
comprehend that a near-total implosion is imminent.
