What casino is going to be the butt of my jokes now?

The Westard Ho! Next to the first casino I ever played winning Craps
at...Slots-O-Fun. Across the street from the first Vegas casino I ever stayed
at...El Rancho (roacho). First casino I ever got a royal...$1,332. May 1993, about
my 5,000th lifetime hand of VP.

This was a turning-point...good or bad...is still to be determined.

It was probably the first Las Vegas experience of many. I stayed there on
my first Las Vegas excursion and placed my first casino bet in their casino.
I think I won twenty bucks in a couple of minutes and felt a little guilty
for taking the dealers' money. Things change.

The only reason to stay there was for the free rooms, rooms were a dump smelled bad ect, a motel 6 was a real upgrade from that dump

It was also my first LV place back in the 1970s. The Ho had a huge shrimp coctail @ only 49 cents back then (shows my age). I learned (??) to play roulette there, thinking that I had discovered a great procedure (i.e. ye ole Martingale of betting 1, then, 2, then 4, etc.) until I won. I did great on 3 trips, but then got wiped out on the next trip (I was betting red and black came up about 12 times in a row). :<( I will especially miss the Boardwalk since I think that their free lounge group (imitated the Four Tops) were great. With the Ho and Boardwalk leaving, there won't be much cheap places left on the strip. Is Slots of Fun part of the Ho?

Slots of fun is part of Circus Circus, but they do not have a hotel, just the casino.
