The Grump Slump Is In The Dump

Howdy

As some of you know and many don't care I have been in a bankroll tailspin.

In the last seven trips to TP in AC I have dropped $2200 at the rate on
average of eighty greenbacks per.

I has not hit a RF in my last 20 adventures. For those of you into cycles
that's over two for yours truly. I was wondering if the fix was in or a
spell
was cast which is more likely judging by some of my "fan" mail.

I arrived at 2:45 PM and found a .25 9/6 JOB carrier on a JW upright. I
feed
a twenty to the ever hungry creature and it was swallowed in one sinister
gulp. As I plugged away I noticed a strange phenomenon unfolding I was
pulling
hand after hand and I was winning. No SF but flushes and full houses were
abundant.

I reached 1000 credits and downloaded the ticket. Hey I was up 230 in about

2 hours. Usually the current is ebb tide not flood.

I dropped another 20 in and the trend continued. I had one eye on the clock

as I was there to play in the 150k slot tourney which began at 6 PM. At
5:45
PM I was up 405 credits and was going to call it a day. Counting my
pocketed
ticket I was ahead 310 bucks which was unheard of for me considering there
was no straight flushes and only about 6 quads which is normal in 3 hours
play.

I hit the large round deal button which was oversized compared to the
little
square one and lo and behold a spade Royal Flush suddenly appeared like an
oasis in the desert.

I was ready to carefully hit the hold buttons when it did it for me. HOW
NICE.

I cashed out with a 1310 dollar bonanza and shook my head in disbelief.

The tournament was a bust for me but I still went home with a restored
faith
in that capricious game called Video Poker.

"Play and They Shall Come."

Congrats Grump! Glad you are starting to make your way out of the
slump.

I went all of 2005 without a 25c royal (although I did hit lots of
5c royals on multi-line machines). I have hit four 25c royals so
far this year, so I know what you are going through!

Cheers
