Mickey, I just wanted to say:
1. I'm glad you're back on vpFREE, and I'm totally enjoying your
stories
2. You really should write that book. The stuff you've been
posting here
is enough to be a great start. I'd wager that Deke, Anthony, or
Bethany at HP
would be chomping at the bit for a shot at it.

I lost my earlier post to you. I'm having connectivity problems today
for some reason.
My idea of writing is I write in my spare time when I get memory jogs
from reading vpFREE posts. That's how I come up with the stuff I put
on vpFREE. It's just a memory jog from reading someone's post. I try
to tell what situation I was in or what strategies I used.
When I have enough text then maybe I'll talk to someone about
publishing it. But I won't talk to anyone until I have the text. That
might be a year from now or ten years from now. I don't know. If they
don't like it or think it needs to be revised, fine, but I'm not gonna
put myself on someone else's clock in the meantime.
I have a logistical problem, though. I'm computerized, but computer
illiterate. I don't have a printer. Does anyone make a printer small
enough to put into rollaway luggage? I'm a traveling man, you know.
I've been told you can write text into Notepad then burn it onto a disc
and take it to Kinko's or someplace and get it printed. I wish I knew
how to do all that. I guess I'm just gonna have to break down and
teach myself how to do it. I hate learning new stuff on
computers.
