The good, the bad and the ugly at Red Hawk Casino

The Good:
(a) The Club 55 promo: if you over 55, then 100 base points gets you $5 food comp and $5 free play Mon thru Thursday
(b) $2.99 pancakes as late night special: 3 big pancakes, bacon or sausage and a cup of Starbuck coffee Sun to Thur from 12 midnight to 6 or 7 am. Since it's not advertised (i.e. not on the menu), you need to ask for the pancake special.
(c) Multiple point days
(d) Numerous 99%+ VP machines in $1 and up

The Bad:
(a) Slot club has a "Please don't ask so you won't make us not tell you" policy -- however, one or two persons did give away the secret formula
(b) The multiple point days EASILY takes over 24 hours to appear on your account. If you play a 9X promo, expect to be there for two full days to get your 8X in bonus points.
(c) Points are being deducted for unknown reasons; the slot club members are unable to help you.

The Ugly:
(a) You WILL NOT get $100 in free play if you are a "Gold Member". For the past three months, RH ran a promo where each daily swipe reveals a letter and if you collected 5-letters such as "P-R-I-Z-E", etc, they gave you $100 in free play. Don't worry, the letters are NOT random and Gold Members will never get the last letter. If you are an Elite Member, then the average winning is twice or $200 depending on how often you swipe your card and your Avg Daily Theo and a couple of other factors.
(b) Monthly mailers are quite low for the coin-in. Red Hawk sends mailers where you get $XX for Mon-Thur and $XX Fri-Sun. I've spoke with a number of high coin-in players, i.e at least $10,000 coin-in a day playing SLOTS, and they get $40 MAX for each period or $80 for the week.
(c) Marketing people who are clearly nutcases or simply player-unfriendly. Some promo's starts at 4 AM. Some promo's end at midnight. Your daily swipes is based on the gaming day ending at 11:59:59 pm or one second before midnight. Some promo's start at 6 pm. Some promos end at 6 am. I could go on.

Good luck.

Just a couple of additions:

1) You need to activate your multiplier at the rewards kiosks before playing. The 9X (it's 7X this month) is not automatic.

2) Don't expect on getting $80 a week; the amount is simply the most common highwater mark.

Good luck.

Read article in today that Chukchansi Casino is reopening tomorrow on New Years Eve for the first time since the armed takeover attempt.

I think that I for one, will wait a while. Could be a long while. On local TV news showed the opening and it was crowded. Fresno Bee and look for local news 12/31/2015

They had a lot of nerve doing what they did, with people right there playing while they were playing cowboys and Indians, for real. I hear people were shut out of their hotel rooms too. I imagine it could have been a frightening experience. How dare they do that, what if you were there with your grandmother. And to boot, they now exclude video poker players from multi-points day. Screw them.

What’s kind of amusing is that they were very adamant about shutting out that other tribe’s plans of building just north of Madera. They poured millions into the anti-Prop 48 campaign. Greedy greedy, and then they pull this and don’t make a penny for well over a year. Somehow I just can’t bring myself to tears over their hardships. It will be quite a while before I go up that treacherous road again.

What have they done to say they are sorry to their customers for the inconvenience and frightening experience? Is there anything they can say or do? Or just remain silent and hope people don’t remember? Hope their cash cow comes back with a bell around its neck.
