The Dueces at Wynn were put in to indentify VP pros

I believe your drivers license is scanned when you get a slot card at
Wynn. Wynn will not only have your name but your picture. It could be
that Griffin is behind this to to compile new advantage player
database. This not the first time this has been done. When Hard Rock
offered 2-1 Blackjack, Griffin was there to get new pictures and data
on BJ pros. This is just my theory but it's a small cost to pay to
gather information.

I'm admittedly one of the more naive on the block but I sense a tinge
of "conspiracy theory" here.

This possibility sounds familiar. :-0

Exactly, the previous post about the can gave me the idea that this
might be the case. I was told there was heat there Saturday night as
the player who hit two royals in a day hit another one. He was backed
off in a nice way from the machine. He was basically told to call it a
night.

I don't doubt this report but it leaves me questioning their motivation.

Assuming that he's free to come back another day, was it the case that
they spotted his juju that they felt was certain to ensure yet another
hit that night?

Or is possibly the case that the guy had worked up such a sweat with
his furious play that visitors were cutting a wide swath around that
bank and that the "back off" was in the form of a suggestion he could
benefit from a shower and change of clothes

I know it will be a "forehead smacker" when you tell me, but, what is a "juju?

Suppose you haven't come across a reference to a "juju man" either, huh?

Well, it's not a reference to those embalmed jelly fruit-like candies
once sold in a box at your movie theater. Borrowing from dictionary.com:

"a charm or amulet with magical powers"

Ah! A dictionary!

I did say that your reply would cause me to smack my forehead.

It never came to mind for me to use one (a dictionary, that is), here anyway. I
did think, however, that the term must be some arcane references to an
ancient VP-related ritual or talisman. One that would miraculously lower
variance, while increasing EV.

Sorry!

P.S. By the way, I did spend many an interesting afternoon, as a kid, at the
Saturday matinee, getting jujube's stuck in my teeth. The Lyric movie in South
Philadelphia (long gone, I think) comes to mind. LOL.

Oh yes, BW, I remember those days well. JuJubes have been around a
VERY long time. However, I can no longer delight in those tasty
morsels, since these days, instead of JuJubes getting stuck in my
teeth, my teeth get stuck in the JuJubes!

Don, the Dentist, where are you when I need you?
