My first one came after 18 1/2 years of playing VP (yes, you read
that right!). Only a very occaisional tourist player for the
first
16 years or so, got serious about it after getting WinPoker and
learning the error of my ways. My friends said I went almost
catatonic when the "family" finally appeared, sat there staring at
the screen in total disbelief until the slot attendants arrived.
Then I hit four more that year. I hope your luck has changed in
much
the same way!

First times, for all good things, are GREAT!
My first one was in 1984, at the Riv in LV, on a $1700 8/5 JoB prog,
which I wasn't "smart enough" to know, was not positive and
shouldn;t be played! I had been playing about 2 years at the time,
and only traveled to LV 3-4 times a year, staying for 3-4 days. I
was alone (my husband was eating breakfast on our last LV morning,
and I had decided to skip breakfast for additional playing time). I
was so excited that the very nice and friendly folks on eithet side
of me, actually prevented me from falling off the seat! When my
husband returned I was still jumping up and down (I WAS 20 years
younger at the time!) and handed him the WG form. He thought it was
pretty neat too, and didn't even make me pay the tax.
Unfortunately, this was before I knew enough to keep Win/Loss
records. Anyway, I've had countless Royals since, and I still get
excited, but the first was definetly the best!
