I believe that is the one non-Toyota nameplate included in the Toyota
recall.

You're right ... just Googled the recall ... some Vibes are tied to the Toyota problem. But, his Vibe is 2007 ... not in the recall. (One Vegas TV station did pick up on Vibe/Toyota situation and confirmed that his vehicle was not tied to the recall or any related Toyota manufacturing ... and so everything now does fall back to an unstated medical condition).
