The Denon Demon?

The Job machine I play goes from .25 to 2.00. I have played at the .25 level forever.

Recently I decided to jump from .25 to 1.00 when I was down to speed up the process of possibly recovering my loss and possibly showing a profit. This brilliant idea has turned into a disaster for me. I intend to stick with the .25 no matter what.

Have you or do you move up your denon when you are down..or even when you are up, which seems like the better choice?

I did the same thing on JOB 50 line. I was down on 1 cent denom for 2.50 a bet so the next highest was 5 cent denom for 12.50 a bet. I was just going to do a few bets to get back up... I worked a couple of times that day already. I ended up going through 200 dollars in about 15 minutes. Never had that bad of a streak. I felt sick when I got up from the machine.

What a surprise! Once again the "bet more when you've lost a lot so you can catch up faster" approach is shown for what it is - a strategy for losing even more.

The only time it makes any sense to change the denomination if is the new one has a better pay table or do a promotion you will have better benefits at the new denomination.
