The Dearth of Advantage Play - Make Your Next Vacation Somewhere Besides LV

Posted to Lodestone & vpFREE

With the recent discussion about identifying advantage players & how it's
only going to get worse, it's probably time to think about alternatives to LV.

So many of the people I meet in LV are pretty one-dimensional thinking that
the best of everything is there. Well this might be the time to boycott the
casinos & see the rest of the world so you can do an up-close-and-personal
comparison.

I'll get it started in a couple of categories & maybe people can chip in with
lists you think are helpful:

TOP 100 HOTELS IN THE WORLD (Travel & Leisure magazine)
http://tinyurl.com/yumwt

#1 is the Peninsula in Bangkok.
#4 is the top US hotel, the Halekulani in Honolulu.
#22 is the Inn at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, CA.
#30 is the Four Seasons, LV.
Bellagio doesn't appear until #59 & Venetian is #96. I guess size does not
matter. BTW, 14 Four Seasons hotels around the world made up the top 30 so you
can infer who has the best chain.

TOP 10 GOLF COURSES IN THE US (Golf Magazine)
http://tinyurl.com/34qvz

#1 is Pebble Beach, Pebble Beach, CA
#6 is Spyglass, Pebble Beach, CA
#7 is Shadow Creek in Las Vegas

If you know where to find a listing of the best restaurants and spas, please
post so that our friends in LV will know that what they have are copies of the
best which exist elsewhere.

Sooo....what are the full pay games at the Peninsula
in Bangkok?

And just what the heck do you mean by "one
dimensional"???

just seeing who's paying attention,

Although Las Vegas is the best place in the world to gamble many of
the casinos and hotels in Las Vegas have a lot to learn about
customer service. I've treated rudely or been badgered by time share
salesman many times in Las Vegas. I have found, though, that most of
the off strip casinos have a clue about customer service.

You've never been to Atlantic City! Vegas is great compared to them. Some of the worker's sneer at you and act like their too high and mighty to do thier job.
