The cost of a Peppermill "Comped" room has just gone up.........

Just came back from 3 days at the Atlantis, and one day at Peppermill.
At check in at the Peppermill I was told that they have added access
to the new health club to all rooms that you stay in. She said that
because of that, the additional "comp" charge to the room was $30.

That takes the per day comp room charge (for a standard Peppermill
room) to about $60. For you non-high rollers, that is about $15,000
coin in per day, before you can accumulate any comps for food.

That has pretty much made my decision to make Atlantis my home away
from home.

P.S. I asked if I didn't want to use the health club, could they not
deduct the extra $30. Was nicely told "No".

Yup, and while their Tuscany rooms are nicer than ATL - the comp charge is extra outrageous
and not worth it !

My biggest problem is never being able to figure out how many comps I
have. I ask at the desk and response is always "well, what are you
looking to use them for?"

Great post, thanks! I hate to beg, that's always the way I feel. It's
great to know what's required instead of having to grovel, BUT WHAT CASINO'S
LET YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE QUALIFIED FOR?
