That's one fact I skirted over but it's a fair observation. I can't
go as far as to say "every one" but I'll say damn near every one I

I won't get into the political correctness of their observations but I will
note that it's a lot easier to point out a group because they look & act
different.

I am Chinese. Once, I did have some of these dirtbags do what was described
by waiting for me to quit my machine. I did occupy them for a long time by
pulling out 20s, then 10s, then 5s figuring I was doing a public service by
keeping them tied up for a long time. They finally caught on to me when I ran
out of small bills & had to pull out 100s. After that, I couldn't have any more
fun as they wouldn't sit next to me & be obnoxious or blow smoke in my face.

I knew about Bellagio since I was there on opening day & knew that it was
slot-wonging heaven. I did play slots if I found a good opportunity but NEVER
waited or annoyed a customer to leave a play. My primary play was on vp. I
chose not to spend a lot of time chasing slot plays as lucrative as they were
due to the type of people that were attracted.

My opinion of Bellagio dropped many notches when I reported one particularly
obnoxious vulture & they didn't do anything about it. Later, I observed that
the slot vultures with some employees so I suspect there was probably a
kickback of some sort.

Oh, I did notice others doing the same thing but they weren't Asian. Best
description is white tr--h. But it takes a special kind of "eye" to see them.

If what I just said makes you uncomfortable then you know how I feel.

I enjoy the contributions of rockofjello & Harry and have no doubt that what
they reported is to the best of their beliefs. I'd like to say let's drop
this thread & move on.

Glad you didn't spell out that word, Ted, or I would have been offended. :wink: Unfortunately, your reality check ruined my plans. Since I don't know a bonusing slot machine when I see one, I thought I'd just look for some groups of asians standing nearby and figure that that would lead me to the machines. :-/

Well, it doesn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, but I can still imagine that generalized comments about your race that are of a negative nature would offend you to some degree. We all need to remember that it isn't just the 'politically correct' crowd that we need to be concerned about, and that's not to imply that they are necessarily always right, either, because I get sick and tired of some of that PC crap myself. Anyway, being part Roma myself (or so I've been told by family tradition and judging from my last name), what with the history of abuse, discrimination, genocide, and oppression that Roma have suffered, I wouldn't appreciate any ethnic jokes in my direction, either. Not that this ever happens in the U.S., but in parts of Europe, Roma are considered exactly the term you used: "white trash", and there is still a lot of racial discrimination toward us even to this date.

I always enjoy your posts, Ted. Sorry that you were made to feel uncomfortable here. That probably wouldn't have happened if we had continued to discuss video poker.
