For whatever reason, Fiestas remain far better places to play than
Stations, even though Stations owns Fiestas. If you like the movies,
good restaurants, etc. that Stations has to offer, the best way to get
them is to play at Fiestas on 5X point days; you can use those points
at all Stations as well as Fiestas. This is doubly true in light of
the rumored upcoming Stations policy of halving all points earned on
"good" VP machines.
So: if you play FPDW at Fiesta on 5X days, you get .833 comps; FPDW at
Stations (Sunset) gets you .0833 comps (after "adjustment").
Same game, different properties, same owner, one game comped at TEN
TIMES the rate of the other. Ludicrous, no?
Of course, I think we can kiss off 5X points days at the Fiestas for
the exact reason mentioned above. Vegas VP is about to hit absolute
bottom.
