Made it down to the AVI, via the Bullhead Parkway and Aztec Road Bridge.
Went looking for my bank (Compass) who moved from the closed Albertsons. Compass
is now south of the Super-Walmart next to Payless shoes. Laughlin Ranch is
off the Parkway. They are supposed to have a bunch of new expensive homes
around 72 holes of golf. Just where are the casino workers going to live?
Back to the AVI, a VP update:
The blog update of 2/11 is incorrect for the AVI. Laughlinites are not used
to seeing royals of 2,500 coins. The eight GK have 9/6/2500 Jacks at the
quarter, fifty cent and dollar level (3/1/06).
The 3-$1 bartop Jacks still exist.

Major expansion continues. The parking garage is completed. The pool
complex is moving to the south end. More convention space is going in where the
pool used to be.
They amaze me down here, just spending money everywhere.
On the way back to Casino Drive (14.5 miles) there is road expansion going on
the HWY. Emerald River Golf Course is dead grass now.
