Thanks Jean Scott!

I introduced myself to you at The Venetian High Limit Room last week.
You informed me of the tournaments going on over the weekend. I asked
my host for an invite (I have no idea why I wasn't invited given my
average bet).

Anyway, I placed 5th on the 2nd day of the Tiki. I guess I owe you a
cut of my 500 bucks.

Regards,
Sam

My "pay" is the pleasure I get helping other people make/save money in casinos. That's the main reason why I just can't seem to retire!!!

I hope you asked your host to see why you weren't on the regular mailing list for offers.

I have some good hosts who inform me in advance of tournament schedules. But often, when I hear about a tournament from a friend, I have to ask the host about it. This is the reason it is good to have gambling buddies. You can share information about mailings. It is especially important for a Vegas local to have an out-of-town buddy, since often the Strip properties send more mailings to out-of-towners . However, if you are a player at that property, you can often ask your host about being in an event to which you didn't get a mailed invitation.
