Thanks for the misinformation

I'm not one of the many "experts" that seem to populate this forum.
I'm just am average guy that likes to go play some 10/7 DB a couple of
times a week and put through $1000 to $1500 per session. I'm happy
making a couple of bucks and getting a comped meal or two. I don't do
this for a living like so many in this group seem to do.

That said, I wish people here would state facts and not rumors. I just
returned from my neighborhood Stations casino and found that the 100%+
machines were still giving 1 point for $2 play, not the 1 pt/$4 that's
been the topic of so many discussions.

What upsets me now is that I normally don't play on Saturdays (I work)
but I was planning on playing yesterday to take advantage of their gift
offer for the day. However, I decided not to play because of the
misinformation posted here and the fact that my usual play would not
have allowed me to qualify for the gift.

I suppose that it is a lesson learned for myself. I'll quit listening
to the "experts" and base my decisions on known facts.

You can't expect the database to be up-to-the-minute. You might also
have noticed, if you had read all the posts on the subject, that the
$4/point Optimums policy was being unevenly implemented. If this had
been a make-or-break issue for you, you could have used the
telephone, and talked to the slot club at the particular casino you
were planning to go to.

True; however, slot clues are often clubless... er.. um.. you know what
I mean.

(whining about misinformation)

In my experience, not only is there tons of misinformation on VPFree,
it swings both ways. The people, for the most part supplying alleged
misinformation are amateurs or wannabes. Most true professionals
probably would never give up any information.

It's not like it's classified Stations offers 10-7, among other 100%+
games. I think a phone call to any slot supervisor would have cleared
up any misunderstanding.
