Thanks for the help

Everyone,

I want to thank the group for taking me in a short time from a fairly "clueless" player (despite reading some VP books and playing quite a bit) to someone with some decent knowledge and more importantly someone who knows where and how to look for VP data.

Something I had never noticed before - in my paltry supply of VP choices here in WI, I usually play quarter Spin Poker and the best pay table available is 8/5 for DDB or 9/5 JOB. There is a lonely bank of 4 SP machines at Oneida. Well I decided to check all 4 to see if each machines pay table was the same. They were not the same in regards to the pay for a RF. Two of the machines paid 250 with one coin bet and two of the machines paid 800.

This is huge for me to know. I might start out playing 45 quarters a hand; 9 lines x max 5 coins, but if I am not running well, I will drop down to 1, 2, or 3 coins per hand. All the other payoffs are proportionate for the coins bet, excep the RF. It is a relief to know that if I do hit the RF (which I have already a few times at full pay) that as long as I am playing the two correct machines, I do get the 800 per each coin bet payoff.

The casino also has SP that is nickels or dimes, but the paytables are attrocious at 6/5 JOB or 7/5 DDB.

Wandering around the remodeled casino I also found a 9/6 JOB single line in $1, 5, and $10 denominations.

I am no longer a PLOPPY !!!!!!!!

Thanks to all of you and the helpful advice and the data available at vpFree in terms of paytables, FP etc.
