To the "Frugal" Family-
I apologize for not being able to get on earlier. My server at home has been down and I don't use my work address for posting.
THANK YOU so much to Jean and Brad Scott for collecting everything and holding it in their garage, and for bringing it all down to the school.
Another great big THANK YOU to all of you who donated $$ and prizes.
Yes-the kids are already behaving better!!! They were quite "pop-eyed" at all the goodies and are saving their tickets-they do have a choice of spending them now, but almost all of them have resolved to save them because they all want to get their parents/families something nice =)
It also gave us (the teachers) a lift to see how much everyone cared and how everyone was willing to pitch in. We are brainstorming different field trips we can take, because we had NO funds for field trips, and now we do!!! The Deaf kids are going to have a lot of fun, thanks to all of you. God bless you all many, many times.
I will post when we do go on the field trip and after the kids actually get their prizes (all of which should happen before Christmas)... Happy Holidays!! =)
