Texas Station Downgrades

Was at Texas Station this morning, ready to play with the 6x points in
the downgraded mailer. First bad sign was the daily tobacco comps were
reduced from $14 to $7 for both the wife and I.

The second bad sign was all of the machines that were $2 per point are
now $4 per point...some of them are labelled as such and others are not.

Does anyone know if this change ($4 = 1 point on the full pays) has
happened at the other Stations?

Time to re-evaluate my play there.

$4 per point at Red Rock this morning.

There is a way to fight this corporate cheapness. If you do any reasonable amount of play, get a host, charge meals to your room, and ask them to take care of it. If you are not staying at the hotel, if your play allows for such, ask for comps through a host without point deduction at the booth. Of course with $4/point your play will show up as much less. A trick to use is to find a less than full pay with a progressive that makes it full pay as these are a $1/point. Also, some stations have triple pay deuces at 99.92%, very volatile, but full point credit. They also have 5/8 BP with reversible royals to let you get enough to get comps as well as offers for their free slot and VP tourneys which would put your expected value over 100% taken in total.

Just returned from GVR, and all full pay machines had $4 per point
signs on them. Katy

I disagree. The best way to fight corporate greed is to completely
take you business elsewhere. The more people that walk, the more
their bottom line is affected.

Sorry, I don't consider anything that's 99.17% at reset "full pay".
