I disagree. The best way to fight corporate greed is to completely
take you business elsewhere. The more people that walk, the more
their bottom line is affected.
There is a way to fight this corporate cheapness. If you do any
reasonable amount of play, get a host, charge meals to your room, and
ask them to take care of it. If you are not staying at the hotel, if
your play allows for such, ask for comps through a host without point
deduction at the booth. Of course with $4/point your play will show
up as much less. A trick to use is to find a less than full pay with
a progressive that makes it full pay as these are a $1/point. Also,
some stations have triple pay deuces at 99.92%, very volatile, but
full point credit. They also have 5/8 BP with reversible royals to
let you get enough to get comps as well as offers for their free slot
and VP tourneys which would put your expected value over 100% taken
in total.
