Texas FPDW slant-tops have less glare

Greetings from Las Vegas, Home of the Monthly vpFREE Lunch :

Thanks to a local player who went through channels all the way
up to the GM, the Texas slant-top FPDW have considerably less
glare than previously. She has gotten them to dim and paint the
overhead lights black, and I think she has additional ideas to
improve the situation even more.

Never hurts to ask the right people, nicely.

So Tom, any chance she could put a word into the ear of someone with
pull over at Caesars (maybe at the next industry meet or something).
The glare on the slant tops there damn near caused a migraine when I
was there!

Yep, we were there tonight and it was noticeably better. Thanks to whoever
was responsible for this!! (Texas really needs to add another bank -- the
one bank has been much busier the last few weeks -- maybe Coast refugees?)

If that's something that happened to you then maybe that's a bug that
YOU could put into someone's ear at Caesars'. Don't wait for someone else to
make a suggestion to make those changes. If you notice something that
bothers you tell someone! That's the point of this thread. Complaining to
this group is only going to affect a change if a casino exec is reading this
group. (I'm not sure how many do...) Best to complain to the people who can
change things. We can sympathize and we can send letters but a live
face-to-face means SO much more to those in charge.
I know your response was meant to be humorous but I think it
demonstrates a very good point. Most people can spend hours complaining to
the people who can't make much of a difference but if a casino exec asked
them directly how things were, the response 99% of the time is things are
great, fine, ok....

Did anyone pass praise to those in charge over at Texas Station? Maybe if
they heard some compliments along with their complaints they'd be even more
responsive to future suggestions.

No.

She specializes in local casinos, particularly Stations. In addition to
getting things done, she also is a font of reliable information about
discretionary comps, VP inventories, promotions etc..

Best wishes,

Just my two cents, but I'd caution against complaining too loudly about slant-top glare, as the simplest solution for the casinos might be to remove the slant-tops!
