Hi...has anyone ever actually taken Terribles up on the above
offer?....in their monthly magazine it says you can play and they will
buy major appliances for you, etc, etc,...and it says they will pay
your power bill. We asked at the desk...they said you have to play
first and have points in your account, and then present bill to them
and in "about a week" they would call to tell you how much they would
pay and get your authorization to remove those points and cut the check
(not to you, of course, but to the appliance dealer, power company or
whatever) When we asked how many points...no one knows. We asked if we
could play at "restricted point" times...no one knows. We asked if we
could find out ahead of time how many points it would take for each
dollar of payment....no one knows.
Can anyone on the list enlighten us? I am getting the distinct
impression that they are making this difficult a/o vague to discourage
players from doing it...but in that case, why offer it?
