There was a good turnout tonight at Terrible's. I guess a lot of
folks were trying for that double Royal payout. I played about 4
hours of .25 9/6 JOB, but it didn't happen for me. I got about
ten "Royal Scares" though.
I saw two different guys playing on two machines simulateously,
one at the $1 level, one at the $2 level. They were serious about it.
Assuming the promotion continues next week like this past week
(2X Royals in effect on Saturdays 9a-3p, and Sun-Wed 6p-midnight), I
guess I'll be back there trying hard. BTW, the 2X Royals are in
effect on the .25 and lower denoms. If you play 600 hands per hour,
this promotion is worth about $14.70/hour on the 0.25 JOB machines.
If you take advantage of their Double Cash Back (limited to $500),
this rises to $15.45/hour.

Now that's quite a promo! Do they really have an idea of what they're
offering here? I'm not familiar with the speed of their machines, but
those guys hitting two machines should be good for at least 1000 hands
per hour. (Although I'm confused by your report that they're playing
$1/$2 machines.)

Most of the JOB at Terrible's are on the MG/MD machines, where you
can choose your denomination, which is usually anywhere from .05 to
5.00. I play .25, as that is all that my bankroll will allow.
