Ten Days, Lake Tahoe

This is really the marketing offer that initiates the trip. In
summation it reads three days in a lavish suite,up to $400 for
airfare and $2,000 in promotional chips. Its the best offer I've
ever had and I build my trip around it. Last minute change I cancel
my rental car because of snow warning and take the Tahoe shuttle
from the airport. Diamond check in at Harrahs Tahoe assigns me suite
1015. Its a beautiful corner suite and much nicer than the executive
suite they put me in last fall. Went to Diamond Services where they
cut me a check for airfare and give me two one thousand dollar
chips. This was the second time this trip Harrahs paid airfare.I felt
a little guilty but they insisted. I asked if I could use the chips
for slots and they said sure just take the chips to the high roller
lounge which I immediately did. Iwas surprised when they took the
chips they just counted out 2K in 100's and said have fun. I still
thought there must be a catch somewhere. Put $100 in a $1 9/5 J/B in
the lounge, played for halfhour and ticketed out even. Walk out of
lounge and reccnoiter the hotel.

I spot my old buddies the $1 triple plays that ate me alive last
time I was there. They are full pay but I dropped 2K last fall in a
very short period. This time its different. I hit a royal on my
first $100. I haven't had a drink yet but I'm really floating. They
count out $4K, fill out the papers, knock off the count on the
machine and wish me well, leaving me a 200 count onthe machine. I
play a little, ticket out and move to the other outside machine.
Bingo!Another Royal pops.At this point I've only been there an hr
and I'm up 10K. Its been many a trip since ve been up that much.Feel
like running out and flying home but still have seven days left.

Harrahs Tahoe is still a very nice hotel. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi,
ski lift at the back door, good restaurants and still the ambiance
of the golden days. I make my reservations for Fridays Station and
just kind of wander around basking n the glow. I notice its kind of
slow and the crap table has almost no action. I wonder if I can get
some of the money back I lost on previous trips, but just walk on
bye patting the roll in my pocket. Crap table beware!

Ha! Sweet! I was wondering how they were going to handle your $2K in
promotional play. No need to brainstorm how to play that. $2K in cash
makes the trip to Reno/Tahoe irresistable. The airfare and sweet digs are
icing. I bet the 2 royals were kinda neat also;-) Damned good luck, B.
Congratulations.
