Thanks, first, for the updates. I'm staying at the Trop next
weekend and it appears I need to refresh my Bonus Poker skills, as
well as learn the incantation for quad 7's.

Last trip we played some of those bizarre video screen dealer
games. I played Texas Hold 'Em Bonus Poker. I like them for a
couple of reasons. 1) They have card readers, so you earn points on
your card like on vp and slot machines (not sure what coin-in is for
a point) 2) You can play table games for lower limits than with a
live dealer, so for the "I don't play carnival games" crowd (of
which I am a proud, card carrying member) you can play lower ER
games for much lower stakes. 3) When they change dealers, they
change locations. I've now played by the pool in some tropical
location and in a deserted high-end casino without leaving my
table. 4) It gets more bizarre the longer you play there. Hard to
explain, but they've programmed in some witty responses when you are
slow to bet. Everyone at the table begins to talk back to the
screen. It's like being in a Fellini movie.

I got close enough to a Blackjack one to start reading the rules. I did not
touch it but the beast knew I was standing there and started talking to
me..."Would you like to play some blackjack?". I had to scurry away. I am going to
sit down next time.
