I've got my whole trip planned except for transportation from/to the

There are really no time constraints, we arrive around noon and don't
depart until around 10:30pm. Would the ride on a shuttle take a lot
longer than a taxi? Las Vegas Limousine seems to have good shuttle
reviews, any comments?

The taxi drivers in Las Vegas are some of the least law obeying and rudest
taxi drivers that I have ever encountered. There is also some ridiculous fee
associated with airport pickups that begins as soon as you set foot in the
taxi. Granted, Mandalay Bay is not far from the airport but depending on the
particular amount of lack of morals of the potential taxi driver that you get,
not only will the taxi ride perhaps be only a tad bit shorter than the shuttle,
it might even be longer. Also, the taxi lines sometimes snake around so
getting a taxi immediately is probably not likely.
