$30-50 depending on time of day and route the driver takes (plus tip). If I had 4 people I would split a car service ride. Usually around $70 and much faster than the taxi line.

The shuttles are much more inconvenient, and since they charge per person they just aren't worth it in my opinion, except perhaps for solo travelers. Uber is also an option, but it is a bit inconvenient because it picks up from the garage, which is further away than the taxi line.

It should be about $32 plus tip going down Swenson, but wait times could increase it depending upon traffic. I've been amazed at how short and quick the taxi lines have been on my last few trips. I've barely had to stop before getting to a cab.

I once made a cab driver take the streets from the airport to downtown. I didn't save any money and it was an unpleasant ride. To much getting jostled around from all the twists and turns.

If the cab driver takes Tropicana to the freeway he is being honest. Once on the freeway, if he passes Charleston without exiting then he is being dishonest. The freeway takes you all the way north of downtown and you enter downtown from the north.
Exiting at Charleston and jogging onto Grand Central Parkway is the shortest route and you enter downtown from the west side.
