Taxi discounts for local Vegas Seniors

I recently tried to find out about low cost rides to doctors in Las Vegas.
While there are a few groups that provide rides, some charge $15 per hour
while others don't have any more funding. While some insurance plans may pay
for doctor rides, our insurance only covers ambulences.

But in looking through a Senior resource book we found anyone over age 60
can get coupon books for 1/2 price taxi rides. You pay $20 and get $40 worth
of coupons (in $1s). They can be used to get to airport or anywhere. This is
very useful, not only for doctors, but for getting to airport, and
occasionally going elsewhere by taxi. You have to go to the Department of Aging on
Charleston near Valley View to get them for the first time, showing ID. Once
you are signed up you can get them by mail. You can get 2 books a month in
Feb., starting March, 3 books a month. They expire Dec. 31.

This will be useful for us to go to doctors, leave casinos late at night,
and get to the airport.

Seniors wanting 1/2 price bus tickets can get a ID card for that at the
downtown transporation center. Then you can purchase day passes for half price,
or monthly passes. You must be over 62 years old for this goodie.

So who said that there are no benefits to getting old?

But in looking through a Senior resource book

Can you name this resource book for us?

Thanks.
