Tax Help for the Frugal Gambler

<<<<<What about online gambling? Being
that it is overseas in nature is this something that gets included in
the diary? How about things like the workplace football tickets and
the Saturday Guys Night poker game? Being these are not "recognized"
or "state sanctioned" or however you want to term it... do people
leave these off there IRS diaries>>>>>>>

Remember Al Capone? He didn't go to jail for his illegal operations but
was imprisoned instead for not paying income tax on them. I'm not a tax
expert but I believe you owe income on all gambling wins irregardless of
their legality. If you are responsible for paying taxes on wins, then I
think you would conversely be able to deduct losses incurred in such
endeavors as well.
