Other downsides of casino credit is having too much & your personal info is
now available to more people. Having too much hurts you not only in that you
can now gamble way over your head but old casino lines at casinos that you no
longer go to will limit lines at casinos that you frequent.
Whenever you open a new line, they do a credit check & are able to tell
where your other lines are & how much they are for. When I found out they had
this ability, I became very careful about where I applied. Also request/limit
the amount on the line. Even if they will grant you 10K at Arizona Charlies,
you don't want a large line where you play quarters to limit a line elsewhere
where you have to play much bigger.
Someone else mentioned the Global Payments system which I'll endorse. Global
Payments issues a universal check cashing card recognized by many of the
major casinos. The beauty of it is that there's only one application, your
credit is checked & you get a response within 10 - 15 minutes as to what level
you've been approved for. Then you're issued a temporary card to be followed by
a permanent one in the mail. Since it's a universal system, it accumulates
all uses at all casinos so that you can't exceed the assigned level within a
10-day period.
I like this system because only one place gets my personal info. Since this
covers the hrs when my bank isn't open, the combination now provides 24-hr
access to my acct with a much higher limit than you can get from an ATM. If you
play the high-leverage game of maxing out interest-free casino lines, this
isn't for you as the money will come out of your account within a couple of
days.
