Tahoe Now: Hard Rock Review

Speaking of Tahoe, hubby and I drove up Kingsbury Grade from the Carson
Valley, where we live, yesterday. Thought we'd check out the Hard Rock
Casino that just opened for business. We should have saved ourselves the trip.

We were very disappointed to see that all of the games we checked on the
main floor were in the neighborhood of 97-98 %. No idea how this these
pathetic offerings are supposed to distinguish them from the rest of Tahoe or
draw customers away from anyone else. We were so disappointed we didn't
even bother to get a player's card. We did not attempt to locate a High Limit
Room so no idea what might be in there--if there actually is one.

FYI, there is virtually no snow around town and not much in the mountains.

Bev and I were at Harrah's - LT this weekend and also scouted HR. Tiny casino floor ... H/L consisted of one side of one bank of machines (in front of the player's club -- 4-$5, 2-$25).

Best game I saw was something like a 98.4%-98.9% variant on a couple of machines (I think these were $1), but I was so uninspired, I quickly forgot all details.

Did anyone see if they still had all their ShuffleMaster TableMaster Electronic games? (maybe an UTH version, rather than just BJ) They had these in Horizon...so I'm wondering if they put them away somewhere and kept them in their...

Hard Rock Tahoe stated before they opened that their emphasis was going to be on food, beverage and entertainment and not gaming. vpFREE2 shows 9/5 JOB bartop progressive at the quarter level.
