Don't know where you are getting your information but I disagree. There are Indian casinos that do have playable video poker.

For any Indian casino, you need to ascertain whether it is a Class II or Class III casino. It is only the Class III casino that has a random deal for video poker. (For more information on this, you might want to take a look at the vpFree FAQ and glossary; it has been discussed extensively numerous times.)

If you live in Bakersfield, I'd just go over the hill to Vegas...hell I drive 210 miles every weekend to go to Reno...281 miles isn't that much further and it's VEGAS...

Heading to Las Vegas or Laughlin is the best choice, but I know there is Eagle Mountain Casino near Porterville. You might want to check it out and see the video poker offerings. Don't discount any Indian Casino just because of someones off hand remark. I know better. I see Eagle Mountain has daily bus service from Bakersfield. It would be nice if someone gave a report on the place. I have never been there myself, but I see the billboards on my way to the Southern Nevada casinos.

Sandy,

Yes, good advice, that.

Why drive less than 68 miles to either of two nearby casinos when you can
drive 280 miles and be in VEGAS! Home of 7-5 Bonus Poker! And sold out
$300/night rooms! In fact, why f around. Just a mere 2794-mile drive on
I-40 you can be in ATLANTIC CITY! Hangin with The Donald! That's what I
do. You should do it to. Because I said so.

I got plenty more good advice where that came from.

Start off with Sams's Town and work your way around...
There's a reason Bob Dancer and Jean Scott live in Vegas and not Central California or Reno...
