T-Giving TR Part Deux (not nearly as long)

I forgot the weirdest part of my trip to Laughlin!

On one of the plasmas above a bank of slots at the EW, I noticed they
were showing how to play some of the games. No sound, of course.
Eventually, it came around to video poker and the graphics were all
about reading paytables and using a "tactic sheet." This intrigued me,
so I turned on the TV in my room later (something I rarely do) and
there was the same info on one of the channels.

What I thought was weird is they showed how to find a 9/6 Jacks
paytable and how much better it was than an 8/5 paytable, even giving
the real percentage of difference between the two. And then, the
announcer said (paraphrasing, but not much), "If you can't find a full
pay machine, you should look for another casino that has them." Then
they showed how to use a strategy sheet.

I don't know what else to say. It was weird to me. Real, useful
information given by a casino.
