lounge music is good so what would you recommend? also, how many
casinos have movie theaters or bowling? i thought riverside had both.

I think just for sitting and enjoying the day with a occasional wade into the
pool I would choose Golden Nugget. They spent a month Jan-Dec redoing the
landscaping and upgrading the pool furniture. You have a view of the river.
They used to cocktail the pool out of the Tarzans Lounge in the Summer.
Now if it is 120 degrees the pools at EW/CB are courtyard ones with more
shade. One has an interesting waterfall/outdoor bar set-up. Afternoons the
Harrahs pools are shaded by the towers. Harrahs grooms the beach nightly too.
Free music during the day/happy hour is at Trop Express and Aquarius. River
Palms, Riverside, Egdewater and even the Regency have weekend/nightime live
tunes.
To start getting an idea check the weekly Entertainer magazine, which is
found in all the casinos in hardcopy. Online- www.laughlinentertainer.com
