For those of you that are sitting on a zillion points at the Palms, I am
happy to report there is something now in the gift shop that you might want.
Against the back wall as you enter is a small selection of CD's. The price of
mine was $15 or 6000 points w/out tax.
The selection is definitely for the younger crowd but in addition to Rueben
and Clay of American Idol fame, Luther Van Dross' latest was there. I settled
on Rod Stewart's Volume II of The Great American Songbook where he's doing
renditions of all the old classics.
I'm sure they also have Volume I but I didn't spot it right off. I can start
building my CD collection with some of these updates. Have fun out there.
