Superbowl Parties

I guess what I was trying to say is that, from whay I have heard,
the "open" SuperBowl paries, i.e., the parties for which one could
buy a ticket (@ $50-$100), are not being held, because of a
threatened NFL suit.

The parties to which one is "invited", at no cost to the attendee,
are fine.

I've gotten Super Bowl party invites. They just don't use the

words "Super

Bowl." "Big Game" seems to be the favorite replacement

My understanding is that the NFL has put a damper on Las Vegas
SuperBowl parries and that the major casinos are not holding any.
The NFL says (apparently) that the casinos cannot show the

SuperBowl

on its screens AND ask people to pay for attending these parties.
Something similar happned last year, I believe.

Does anyone have better information on this?
