I forgot to mention - A Bob Dancer article covers this game in
Strictly Slots (Can't recall the issue, but it's within the past few
months- shortly after that Gaming Expo that always takes place in LV).
The avg. 'multiplier' bonus is supposed to be "4.05".
I did receive a number of 2-3-5x, but also a few 6/8x and ONE 10x.
Unfortunately that 10x bonus hand was a 5 card dump for redraw.
I think I managed one winner for 50 instead of usual 5 coins, but
potential is there for much more.
For those that haven't heard of this game yet,
IGT/Action Gaming has added a 'bonus' multiplier that randomly
appears (article says every 15 hands or so).
The multiplier will multiply the payouts on WINNING hands.
The problem: You pay 1 extra coin/line and it seems to be put
in their 3-5-10 play games.
(i.e. you must bet 18 coins per play for triple play, 30 for 5-play,
and 60 for 10-play vps).
Also - most paytables probably won't be much over 99% with a
multiplier possibility on it. And since it is random,
you never know if you will ever receive a good multiplier bonus or
not. Even when you do, no guarantee of a good STARTING HAND to
multiply your payouts.
