super time play

Two days at Gold Coast playing STP JoB .25 5play, all machines had normal multipliers come up, except one machine. 135 straight plays without a multipier. Thats when I gave up and moved machines. Just to see, played the same machine the next morning, and again no multiplier in 25 plays. Decided not to make another run at how long it would go with no multiplier. That extra 5 quarters a play adds up with either a very long streak, or a non working machine.

In Oct, I had the same results...I quit counting at 100 plays & one came up shortly thereafter. First time I've ever played STP as @ home it's short pay only. Amazing, later I played DDB, held 1 Ace & caught 3 morew/ kicker on a rare 4X multiplier...not same machine tho(I don't think) BTW, I don't know what "nrml" is. Also, I "think" the "bad" machine was where you'd sit facing cashier. I do remember "good" machine was opposite side, end near "panda poko' or whatever that name is. Hope this helps someone.

I would call the gambling control board. Worth it to have it looked at.

I would not bother, had this type of no-multi happen plenty of times. For Chartest' out there, you really need to chart 1 million hands, and it should come out to about 1/15. I can tell you a funny story that really burned me up. In an hour I counted 5 STP multipliers on my cold machine. The one next to me had 50 - so I felt like it was fixed , cheated, etc. When that person moved, I did a little better on their machine, but nowhere close to the monster 50.
best ...Tom
