We had your same situation 2 years ago with a Panthers ticket. IMHO, it was
worth holding onto the ticket even though the Panthers did not win the Super
Bowl.
After going through the excitement/agony for the entire season of rooting
for them we even "pressed" our bet by taking the Panthers and the points. The
ticket paid for itself in a season long enjoyment of watching our team get
there. Believing in our team "to the end" actually paid off as the Panthers did
cover that game. Yeah, it woulda been nice...but no regrets!
