I think I may understand your question now. The multiplier is
programmed to appear randomly. It multiplies the payoff on all hands
that are being played. It does not appear more often if you play ten
than if you play one. Therefore, the expected return on the machine
is exactly the same no matter how many hands are being played and
there is no additional monetary value to be gained by playing
additional hands.
I understand this independence. Because of the "Independence" I
asked the following question. If you play his game, shouldn't you
always play the maximum hands possible in order to receive some
possible benefit when it does appear? It seems more likely you
will
have one or more of your hands be a winner instead of you dealt
hand
being "shut out" --- thus no multiplyer benefit this cycle.

A casino offers the JoB Super Times Play game with up to a 10
hand
option. Is it not logical to play all ten hands if one is going to
pay for the multiplier with the extra (6th) coin?

The Wizard of Odds says the multiplier adds marginally to the
expected return. If it is a FP JoB you would multiply 99.54 times
1.00278 for the new return and to use normal JoB play strategy.
