Sunset Station?

I have to be in Henderson for one night next month so rather than deal with the strip I booked a room at the Sunset Station. I'm mildly appalled at having to pay a $15 resort fee for a $30 room but I'll live.

The VP Free website lists some good looking games at this place. Is that info current or have all the games been downgraded for the recession?

Thank you,

Alex

You might want to reconsider and check on Fiesta/Henderson.

I don't believe Fiesta/Henderson charges a "resort fee". Fiesta's
probably have the most machines with 100%+ ER video poker. Besides, I
like to play KBJW and FPDW.

I can't attest to the accuracy of the info, but this link

http://www.vegas.com/incl/resortfees.html<< appeared in a message yesterday dealing with the subject of Resort Fees. It would seem they do charge a fee now.

Good information. Thanks!

It always ticked me off that Sam's Town LV would comp us rooms and food
and still charge us $1/day for the phone that we never used. :frowning:
Haven't been back to Vegas this year. Been spending more time gambling
in Laughlin.

Maybe all these "resort fees" are contributing to the lack of Las Vegas
visitors?

Why would it tick you off about a $1 a day phone charge when you can make all the local calls you want. That never bothered me, but then again, my GF has family in Vegas and makes lots of calls.

You'd be crazy to play video poker anywhere else! Come and experience for yourself why Sunset Station has the BEST VIDEO POKER in Las Vegas!"

Palms does the exact same thing. I always pay it at check-in. So, what?
It's a couple of bucks - a cpuple of times a year. No big deal.

It takes more than $2 to tick me off.

Most hotels do not charge resort fees for comp rooms. But, some do.

All of the MGM-Mirage hotels do.

But, of course, if your room is comped, you can ask a host to have
the resort fees removed. And, depending on your play, they will.

Luke,
According to the table that Neil M. posted Bellagio does not charge a fee.

Larry,

I stand corrected.

I should have left out the line about MGM properties.

I will stick with: "Most hotels do not charge resort fees for comp rooms.
But, some do."
