Sunday at Mohegan Sun

Spent Sunday night at Mohegan Sun, went for the Tony Bennett concert -
excellent, hard to believe this guy is in his 80s! Monday morning they had large
areas roped off in the old casino and slots shut down, bartender at the Hall
of Lost Tribes told me they're doing lots of renovations and replacing some
machines. She said all the bartops are being replaced, she didn't know
whether they would have the same mix of games and whether paytables will be the
same. She said Wolf's Den bar has already been done but I didn't get a chance
to check it and all should be finished by the end of May. Played a ton of VP
Sunday but nothing really exciting to report...lots of 4 to a royal, but none
completed:(

It appears that all they have done so far is change the bill
acceptors at the wolf den bar to accept $5 now, instead of 10 and
up. The screen, games, and sticky buttons are all the same. The
round bar in the sky casino is closed along with a section of
machines near it. I belive the bar is being moved closer to the high
roller section (here's a thought change the denomination to .25/$1/$5
so the VP players will be able to get a seat there). The bow and
arrow is closed for a few more days. -Russ
