Rati$Ruiz, where have you been.?? If you take the above quote, and
substitute these players with these pros, you will have resurrected the
numerous threads on this subject over the past years.
The main rap when a good play surfaced was a combination of play it, don't
overplay it, keep it a secret, those awful pros are closing it down, etc.
If only we all did this, spread our play around, stayed under the radar,
stuck together, etc. we might lose the promo all together.
Where have all the single blackjack games gone? Long time passing...Why do
casinos making profits on even positive VP games decide to eliminate same?
This question is particularly puzzling to me when it involved a progressive
bank.
There, depending on the setting, the casino is assured of their marginal
profit. But we have all seen known pros 86'ed , even teams of two (married
couples) given the heave-ho as well as suspect recreational players with a
positive VP profile. They're getting their profit ....why should they care?
Even when the profits are good, some casino slot execs don't like a small
group of people consistently "beating the house". While others maintain that
heavy play at 2 or 3 places is better in the A list reward level versus too
many places, who would argue that many places might be better to avoid
scrutiny ?
It comes down to "live and let live".
Why don't they all do as I say? Can't they see the "Big Picture"? Human
nature and inter-action in a society will never produce an ideal of everyone
acting exactly the same. Such is life!
