I noticed the Suncoast no longer has any 10/7 double bonus( all have
been downgraded to 9/7), if that is true that means they no longer
have any 100% payback machines.

If this report is accurate, then it's safe to assume that they've seen
no adverse consequences to their elimination of FPDW. It bodes poorly
for prospects elsewhere.

1st quarter.

We looked at every bank at Suncoast today, and all of the 10/7 DB
have been downgraded to 9/7. We didn't see any positive VP machines
in the whole casino. There best VP is NSUD and 9/6 JoB in quarters
through $2.
We also checked Gold Coast and they still have the 26 single line
25c 10/7 DB that are listed in the DataBase.

I suspect that it's still too early to draw any conclusions. ML and I
have friends who live in Summerlin and who invited us last week to
join them for a comped feast at Primo's. We accepted and, for the
first time since the the "Great FPVP Slaughter" began, found ourselves
back at Suncoast. This was Thursday evening, and the casino was as
quiet as we've ever seen it. With a little time to kill, we decided
to make a sweep of the banks which formerly contained the fpdw. We
found an underwhelming total of thirteen players.
Later, at dinner, Primo's also was slow; at 6:30 only four tables.
Before we left, things had picked up some but tables were well less
than 50% occupied. Downstairs, the casino continued to be very
quiet. In fact, it struck us as weird---not quite "Twilight Zone"
stuff---but eerie nonetheless. Our friends observed that weekends
were still pretty busy but that weekdays had clearly dropped off
substantially. So, I think the jury is still out on the Coast
experiment.
